Job Introduction

Due to continued growth of our Northern Ireland Operations, TLI Group are recruiting for a Project Manager with a civils background. The role will involve will evolve to support a number of business units with the first project being located in the Omagh region, County Tyrone

Main Responsibilities

  • Promoting & managing TLI safety processes and procedures, Homesafe every day.
  • Completing project pre-planning processes, establishing key programme deliverables.
  • Working with the Project QS Procure Subcontract Packages as required.
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines.
  • Coordinating project staff.
  • Management of subcontractor staff working on the project
  • Resource planning and allocation.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Preparation of internal progress reports
  • Logging project progress and ensuring program is being met
  • Checking plans & interpret construction drawings
  • Managing project administration, including all documentation.
  • Meeting budgetary objectives.
  • Reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Managing client relationships.
  • Tracking project performance.
  • Project evaluations and results measurement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in the delivery of Power related projects is preferable but not essential.


  • B.Eng. (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Level 8 or above
  • A valid driving license
  • CSR/SafePass



  • Experience within the utilities sector
  • Piled Foundations
  • Tower Foundations
  • Road Construction


  • Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, CAD
  • Ability to use level & EDM, plus GPS (Training can be provided)
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal & Organisational Skills
