Job Introduction

Due to continued growth in the company we are recruiting for a Telecoms Survey Coordinator. This role is based in our Limerick office with travel to site as required. 

Main Responsibilities

  • As Patrolling Co-Ordinator, it is your sole responsibility to be the main point of contact with the patrollers.
  • Assess and monitor the quality & quantity of the work being done on site, if this is not to standard patrollers need to be brief as to the issues.
  • Ensure patrollers have adequate/up to date training for roles they are undertaking.
  • Ensure patrollers have adequate equipment and supplies.
  • Liaise with the designers of towns/clusters to ensure sequence of what is being patrolled is what is required and in the correct sequence.
  • Organise audits to take place on patrolling completed.
  • Compile report of finds and lessons learned from audits.
  • Produce FMR Report for submission to SIRO for ESB make ready on schedule and to a continuously high standard required by SIRO.
  • Prepare safety folders with up to date information at all times.
  • Arrange for accommodation for patrollers when required in new areas.
  • Produce realistic schedules of when work will be complete, and information can be submitted to SIRO for approval.
  • Provide information of poles which will need resistographing, maintain equipment, arrange for service etc.
  • Track patrollers to ensure work is being done in a timely manner and that they are abiding by their terms of contract.
  • Ensure all safety folders are up to date with relevant information for town/area being patrolled by individual patrollers.
  • If access issues arise, ensure the correct person is contacted to help resolve it for the patrol to be completed.
  • Send out daily whereabouts email of patrollers location to relevant parties.
  • Report patrolling figures Monday morning to Team Lead for the previous week.
  • Prepare information for new towns, maps & ensuring app is up to date.
  • Monitor Smartsheet for additional Resistograph test required by the client, organise patroller to complete along with accommodation if required and provide all relevant information required.

The Ideal Candidate


  • Recognised academic training such as a HND or Degree course


  • Proficient use and knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Evidence of several consistent successes within the utilities sector
  • Ability to evidence recent relevant design experience


  • Experience in people and line leadership

  • Proficient in AutoCAD & FOW design tools
