Job Introduction

Due to continued expansion, TLI Group are recruiting for a Qualified Mechanic (Auto / HCV). This department is based in the Tralee office with travel to sites on a daily basis required. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Specialist in all mechanically propelled vehicles or similar
  • Work closely with other mechanics sharing knowledge and experiences
  • Review and ensure all jobs cards are completed correctly and to a high standard.
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is carried out to high standards i.e. DRSA. Jobcards etc
  • Onsite Mechanic, traveling to site to carry out any tasks requiring attention.
  • Ensure all relevant PPE is worn at all times
  • Ensure all work areas are cleaned as you go, equipment is clean and secured
  • Any other reasonable work related tasks.

The Ideal Candidate



  • Technical qualification in Motor / HCV / Agri Engineering or equivalent
  • Full Drivers Licence
  • SafePass


  • Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS office.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy


  • Good written and verbal communications skills and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work within a team
